Making for Change Training Programme
Now in its Sixth year, the ‘Making for Change’ Fashion Production course is delivered by Capital City College within London College of fashion’s training and production studio at Poplar Works.
Delivered by industry experts, this intensive course gives students the skills, knowledge and professionalism to work in fashion production.
We cover entry level skills in Garment Construction, using industrial sewing machinery, Cutting and Handling fabrics, Quality Control and much more. There will also be opportunities to attend bespoke masterclasses and get insight into working in the fashion industry.
This part-time course will run from October 2026 to July 2027 on Mondays and Tuesdays, term time only.
We will be running two open/recruitment days for the course, on 15th and 21st September 2026, where you can come to Poplar Works to find out more and apply for the course.
