Making for Change Training Programme
Now in its fifth year, the ‘Making for Change’ Fashion Production course is delivered by Capital City College onsite at London College of Fashion’s professional manufacturing unit at Poplar Works.
Designed and delivered by industry experts, this intensive course gives students the skills, knowledge and professionalism for a successful career in fashion production.
We cover entry level skills in garment construction, using industrial sewing machinery, cutting and handling fabrics, quality control and much more. There will also be opportunities to attend fashion masterclasses and get insight into working in the fashion industry.
This part-time course will run from October 2025 to July 2026 on Mondays and Tuesdays, term time only.
We will be running two recruitment days for the course, on Tuesday the 16th and Monday the 22nd September, where you can come to Poplar Works to find out more and apply for the course.
