One Year On - Challenges and Opportunities with the Poplar Works Community

10:00 am at Online

After a year of ups and downs, Poplar Works businesses share the lessons they learnt since joining and what 2021 holds in store.

Opening against a backdrop of lockdowns and business in decline during the crisis, Poplar Works has focused its efforts on supporting local fashion, making and creative communities to survive and thrive over the last year.

To celebrate its first birthday, we bring together members from a range of different industries to share the opportunities and challenges they have faced over the last year in a live panel discussion.

Featuring:

Leon Herbert from The Works Cafe;

Vinicius Fachinetto from VINX Digital;

Rachel Arnold from RenewEL;

Asya Ter-Hovakimyan from OMNISS;

Chaired by Rosie Swainson at The Trampery

Poplar Works, a home for anyone working or training in fashion and making, is celebrating its first birthday with a series of online events to mark its impact since launching at the start of the covid-19 pandemic. Discover the full birthday programme running from 27 February to 16 March.
