Workshop for 11-16 Year Olds.

How can you use shapes and colour to communicate the mood of your designs and ideas? How can you experiment with materials and compositions to relay your ideas to others? If you are keen to find out how you can use collaging skills to create a fashion image or mood board, then join this in-person workshop led by Collage Club!

In this guided workshop, you will use colourful paper, magazines and other brilliant materials from the Collage Club studio to create images that convey your ideas.

This workshop is for children aged 10-16 years old*.

*This workshop takes place in the London College of Fashion Making for change unit at Poplar Works. Accompanying parents are welcome to observe in the unit or enjoy a coffee downstairs at The Works Cafe. Please note that accompanying adults must wear a facemask onsite at Poplar Works.

Collage Club is a workshop series celebrating the art of cutting and sticking! Embracing hands-on techniques and using scissors as a drawing tool, Collage Club is perfect for anyone keen to flex their creative muscles and get making without having to produce perfectly proportioned, boring drawings. Each session features a range of activities including speed-collaging and collaborative image-making, and every workshop is packed with top notch magazines and colourful paper for participants to rip, snip, glue and stick into something brand new.
